What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Coordinator position at D1 Training Spring Hill?
D1 Training Spring Hill is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase online presence and engagement for the gym. You will record content and create a consistent video and content strategy across all social media channels, ensuring that the D1 brand is represented in an authentic and compelling way.
Must be a self-motivated, team oriented person with a passion for sports/fitness. Social media experience and measurable social media engagement is mandatory. This opening is parttime, approximately 10-20 hours per week. The role is based around your schedule but you must be willing to gather content from any group class, 1:1, small group, or team training. Must be able to work mornings and evenings, as well as weekends

D1 has coached 1000’s of athletes and teams to reach their goals at all levels with over 75 sites nationwide.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience while maintaining brand voice and identity.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Create and design digital assets and print materials on Canva as needed.
- Utilize other video editing websites / software to produce on brand, visually appealing videos.
- Monitor, track, and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize content and strategy.
- Optimize content for SEO to enhance visibility and reach on search engines.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform content creation and campaign planning.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, tools, and analytics.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Knowledge of graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Skills
- Proficiency in website software tools such as Capcut or other video editing software.
- Excellent research skills to identify emerging trends and audience preferences.
- Ability to create compelling local content and copy that engages users across various platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
