Job Summary
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Oversee the process to check in with our athletes on a regular basis.
- Lead regular coach meetings and provide regular feedback to coaches on coaching the D1 way.
- Oversee all athletic programming to ensure we are giving our athletes the best product and experience possible.
- Membership sales, the Head Coach will be involved in the sales and upsale process. Regular roleplaying will be involved! Sales commissions will be a nice bonus!
- Responsible for the hiring/firing/training/certification of all coaches.
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
Starting and finishing workouts on time
Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
Responsibilities
- Member Sales
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Managing coaching staff
- Lead athlete events such as combines, community events
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
- Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
Qualifications
- Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
- Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
- Minimum of 5 years of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, and personal training setting.
- Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
