Job Title Logistics Project Manager Job Description Summary Daher is looking for a Logistics Project Manager to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. This position will oversee carrying out projects for the sizing of activities and the launch of logistics operations. Assist sales teams in responding to customer requests and needs, while ensuring the interface between the international network and the sales and operational teams. To manage and analyze logistics projects in the context of business start-ups, restructuring of existing activities or optimization. Support operations by providing method, structuring and external outlook. This role could operate remotely in the Southeast United States considering the proximity to our US offices. Job description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES : -Design and define logistics flows and the associated means necessary to execute them- -Create, update and maintain work instructions, processes and supporting documents -Contribute to the deployment of new logistics activities and/or changes to existing logistics activities -Identify opportunities to change the logistics methods to improve the efficiency and quality of our activities -Build a strong relationship and trust with the operations team and the customer -Interact with the engineering and projects team on other Daher sites (North America, Europe) to share best practices, benchmark, progress, experience, challenges, standards. -Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities on the logistics activities -Leading the methods portion of new projects on the logistics activities (activity transfers, process improvement, logistics flows/means modification, etc.) -Develop the efficiency and accuracy of logistics activities -Drive the continuous improvement initiatives of the logistics activities -Ensure the application of the logistics basics in line with Daher group’s goals -Actively take part in the development of logistics and industrial services -Participate actively in internal and customer meetings (project reviews, engineering roadmap, etc.) -Represent Daher’s SeeD methodology for logistics methods and continuous improvement within the team Optimization Carry out studies relating to the logistics processes of customer sites and Group sites with a view to optimizing storage, flows and organization. Conduct quantitative and qualitative studies of the logistics flow chain from the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, from a rationalization and optimization perspective (quality, profitability, deadlines, safety). Integrate a family group with a long-term vision Make a difference in a developing company Develop new skills thanks to the diversity of your missions Take part in a human and industrial adventure full of challenges Innovate and think outside the box by integrating a stimulating environment Profile and other information related to the position Education : Bachelor’s Degree Minimum experience of 3-5 years in Logistics material flow and warehouse layout Skills and Requirements: Simple, straightforward communication and reporting capabilities Master the Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) Experience in industrial or retail logistics operations (3PL or inhouse) or production Specific conditions linked to the position (flexible work hours, etc.) Position stationed in Daher’s Mobile area sites, potential travel opportunities for training and benchmarking -Flexible, versatile and open-minded, able to manage multiple assignments (big or small) in parallel Problem-solver and out-of-the-box thinker-Self-driven, results oriented, work towards a common goal Team player Excellent customer service and orientation skills. Previous experience with warehouse design and layout. Experience working in a global organization and supporting global projects. AutoCad(2D) Macros knowledge Aviation experience is a plus.
