About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Independent Solutions Director of Transition Services-Business Growth Strategy Manager. This person leads a team that transitions Financial Advisors, Registered Investment Advisors, and Broker Dealers to Independent Solutions. This role partners with Independent Solutions Leadership and Market Leaders across the footprint to support the growth of Independent Channel. In this role, you will: Negotiate and influence executive management of various sales channels to provide focus, additional product, or sales training to meet market or segment objectives Lead and direct a team of people to support overall efforts for transitions. Develop and train personnel, handle escalated issues, and partner with a large number of internal groups to support the growth of Independent Solutions Conduct efficiency reviews of transition processes looking for continual improvements. Work closely with Legal and Compliance to stay informed of regulatory changes and implement changes as needed Focus on risk and controls within transition processes and ensure policies and procedures are documented and closely followed Support the growth of the RIA business channel. Work with leadership to continue the buildout of the RIA channel, which includes transitioning FA’s to the RIA. Develop integrated strategies and programs, as well as execution plans and channel marketing support plans to ensure prompt and effective servicing and processing of new business Make supervisory and tactical decisions related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations under direction of Business Growth Strategy functional area management Collaborate and consult with Business Growth Strategy peers, colleagues, consultants, and managers to monitor development of strategic initiatives for business development Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent Required Qualifications: 4 years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 2 years of Leadership experience Desired Qualifications: 4 years experience interacting and partnering with financial advisors and RIAs on transition strategy 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following of the following industries: Wealth Management, Brokerage or Financial Services 4 years of experience in the Independent Financial Advisor or Registered Investment Advisor channels Experience developing and executing strategy aligned to data driven business outcomes such as increased client acquisition, share of wallet growth and financial advisor recruiting Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate to drive business outcomes for Independent Advisor Channel Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with a track record of building relationships both internally and externally Demonstrated experience managing a team of consultants, including hiring, coaching and performance management FINRA Series 7 license Experience creating efficiencies and increasing productivity Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
