About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Area Owner (Senior Lead Product Manager) to join the Advisor Trading Platform team in St. Louis, MO. This role manages and supports trading technology releases for Trading and Capital Markets. The individual is responsible for Agile Product Management duties including strategic planning, discovery, customer journey mapping, Agile team oversight, change management and leadership communications. This role assesses the business needs for enhancements, identifying appropriate solutions and leading internal teams and vendors to implement solutions. Ongoing application lifecycle activities ensuring quality delivery of existing products and solutions is a key responsibility. In this role, you will: Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused for diverse product lines Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide Provide oversight and leadership to vendors and internal support teams to ensure continual lifecycle management and to implement new solutions when required Provide subject matter expertise and support to end users and peer support teams Develop business requirements and prepare business cases for new initiatives and products Planning and coordinating business activities (User Acceptance Testing, client support, internal/external communications, training) Assist in testing of new functions and provide business sign-off to move a function to production Maintain productive, collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders Assist Manager with additional strategic initiatives or assignments as necessary Required Qualifications: 7 years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 5 years of demonstrated experience and understanding of trading tools for Equities, Fixed Income and Syndicate products 5 years Agile Experience (such as user story & feature writing experience / client discovery experience) 5 years experience gathering and documenting business requirements which may include workflows, journey maps, or business processes Experience articulating and capturing requisite data needed to determine measurable business impact (in the form of OKRs/KPIs) for the business area Knowledge of QA testing standards Experience with retail brokerage platform delivery and/or support Knowledge and understanding of BETA, SmartStation and Advisor Gateway Undergraduate degree in business or technology Demonstrated ability to assess and identify complex issues and to formulate recommendations. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking required Self-motivated and ability to lead peer teams and vendors FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) FINRA registration including Series 99 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
