We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative settings and is passionate about automation, scalability, and security. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing the systems that drive our enterprise operations—on-premise and in the cloud.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a senior technical voice on the team, you'll:

• Automate & streamline deployments across dev, test, and production environments.
• Design and manage infrastructure (on-prem & cloud) to support mission-critical apps.
• Integrate enterprise authentication and bolster system security and monitoring.
• Drive CI/CD practices using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Support containers & orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Optimize performance and reduce costs through intelligent scaling and observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Nagios).
• Maintain system reliability with effective logging, alerts, and root-cause analysis.
• Champion DevSecOps principles and work closely with A&A teams to maintain compliance.
• Document and share knowledge to keep the team aligned and operationally ready.
• Participate in Agile development teams using SAFe and Scrum methodologies.
  
  

What You Bring

Required:

• 8 years of IT experience Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent military/industry experience)
• 3 years in systems programming or DevOps roles
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring & logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, Nagios)
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, and Shell
• Deep knowledge of network, infrastructure, firewalls, and security best practices
• Experience with on-premise/data center deployments
• Comfortable using Jira and Confluence daily
• Active TS/SCI clearance (CI poly eligibility required)
  
  

Bonus Points For:

• Experience building GitLab-based Kubernetes deployment processes
• Familiarity with IAM, SSH, VPN, and S3 security configurations
• Background in testing automation (unit/functional)

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $170-190k.
