We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative settings and is passionate about automation, scalability, and security. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing the systems that drive our enterprise operations—on-premise and in the cloud.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a senior technical voice on the team, you'll:
- Automate & streamline deployments across dev, test, and production environments.
- Design and manage infrastructure (on-prem & cloud) to support mission-critical apps.
- Integrate enterprise authentication and bolster system security and monitoring.
- Drive CI/CD practices using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Support containers & orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Optimize performance and reduce costs through intelligent scaling and observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Nagios).
- Maintain system reliability with effective logging, alerts, and root-cause analysis.
- Champion DevSecOps principles and work closely with A&A teams to maintain compliance.
- Document and share knowledge to keep the team aligned and operationally ready.
- Participate in Agile development teams using SAFe and Scrum methodologies.
Required:
- 8 years of IT experience Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent military/industry experience)
- 3 years in systems programming or DevOps roles
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring & logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, Nagios)
- Strong scripting in Python, Bash, and Shell
- Deep knowledge of network, infrastructure, firewalls, and security best practices
- Experience with on-premise/data center deployments
- Comfortable using Jira and Confluence daily
- Active TS/SCI clearance (CI poly eligibility required)
- Experience building GitLab-based Kubernetes deployment processes
- Familiarity with IAM, SSH, VPN, and S3 security configurations
- Background in testing automation (unit/functional)

This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
