D2 Government Solutions provides aviation and administrative support services to various government agencies. Our aviation services include base operations, aircraft flight operations, maintenance, logistical support, training, range support, aerial imaging, and repair operations. We also provide a variety of administrative support services to include mail room, military transition assistance, training, clerical support for identification processing, medical support services, and other similar services.
Overview :
The Systems Administrator II will be responsible for the on-site administration of Government computers, IT systems, and network infrastructure, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN). This position ensures the continuous operation of government IT services, handles system maintenance tasks, software troubleshooting, and supports the overall integrity and functionality of government-operated systems.
Responsibilities :
- Administer and support Government computers, network IT systems, and associated IT equipment.
- Perform system upgrades, troubleshooting, and resolve technical issues in both LAN and WAN environments.
- Conduct system maintenance, including system backups, recovery, and file management.
- Configure and troubleshoot various operating systems, ensuring system integrity and optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.
- Ensure that all systems comply with necessary security standards, maintaining system security and compliance with Government policies.
- Install and maintain required software and applications, ensuring compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
- Perform tasks related to system patches, updates, and continuous monitoring to ensure operational readiness.
- Provide technical support to Government personnel for all computer and network-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to support and improve system performance, security, and user satisfaction.
