D2 Government Solutions provides aviation and administrative support services to various government agencies. Our aviation services include base operations, aircraft flight operations, maintenance, logistical support, training, range support, aerial imaging, and repair operations. We also provide a variety of administrative support services to include mail room, military transition assistance, training, clerical support for identification processing, medical support services, and other similar services.
Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned technical courses based on approved curriculum, including electronics, mechanics, radio/electronics repair, and military systems operation.
- Ensure effective use of instructional time by utilizing various teaching methods, such as classroom-based instruction, hands-on training, and technology-assisted learning (simulations, interactive media, etc.).
- Incorporate real-world examples and practical applications of technical concepts into lessons.
- Maintain high levels of student engagement and motivation through diverse instructional techniques.
- Assist in the integration of new curriculum materials into courses, ensuring that students receive relevant, up-to-date instruction.
- Maintain professionalism and discipline within the classroom environment.
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Manage classroom behavior and resolve conflicts to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Stay current with developments in the technical field being taught and incorporate new knowledge into lessons.
- Continuously refine teaching techniques and materials to align with student needs and technological advancements.
- Provide recommendations for curriculum updates based on changes in industry standards, technology, and military requirements.
- Work closely with course developers and senior instructors to ensure consistency and quality across training programs.
- Participate in meetings to review course content, provide input for improvements, and discuss instructional challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of military experience AND certification in the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC) or Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC).
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in technical fields such as electronics, mechanics, telecommunications, or other areas of specialization tied to the curriculum.
- Familiarity with complex technical systems and equipment, such as automation systems, radio/electronics, or specialized military systems.
- Ability to break down complex technical subjects into digestible units or lessons for students.
- Ability to teach from established curriculum, with capability to incorporate real-world examples, clarification of difficult concepts, and effective use of multimedia or technical tools to enhance learning.
- Maintain proficiency in instructional methods, with the ability to adapt teaching techniques to maintain student engagement and motivation.
- Documented experience in education or technical instruction at a senior military level (IE: Master Leaders Course, USASMA, Commander/First Sergeant Pre-Command Course)
