Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of surveyors in conducting field surveys for various projects.
- Utilize GPS technology and 3D scanners to gather precise data for analysis.
- Prepare and draft schematics based on survey results, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Perform algebraic calculations and apply mathematical principles to analyze survey data.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data, equipment usage, and team performance.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Train and mentor junior staff on surveying techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in surveying or a related field, with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and tools, including ArcGIS software.
- Familiarity with GPS technology and its application in surveying tasks.
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in algebra and geometry.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
