D3 Search is actively seeking an Intake Attorney on behalf of a highly respected plaintiff PI, mass tort & employment law practice situated in Westwood, CA (90024).
Position Title:
Intake Attorney
- Note: 1.5 yrs. intake experience with a plaintiff PI/employment practice is REQUIRED.

Westwood, CA (90024)

Fully onsite work model (Monday - Friday).
Position Summary:
Intake Attorney will possess experience in Employment Law cases, including FEHA discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability discrimination, and retaliation under Labor Code section 1102.5, to assist primarily with client intake.
The ideal Intake Attorney candidate will demonstrate excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
The Intake Attorney candidate should also have a desire to handle socially important cases and be able to successfully manage many clients, coordinate with the firm's intake department, legal assistants, and attorney teams, and should be able to work well individually with minimal supervision and also as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Frequently coordinate with the Intake Department.
- Interview potential clients to evaluate case viability.
- Report summary of client intake calls to the Intake Department and Employment Law team.
- Ad hoc assistance with legal research, drafting motions, etc.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree and active member in good standing with the California State Bar is REQUIRED.
- Experience with a variety of employment law issues, including but not limited to FEHA discrimination, harassment, retaliation, including disability discrimination claims for failure to accommodate disability/failure to engage in the interactive process, and Labor Code section 1102.5 retaliation cases.
- At least 1.5 year of litigation experience.
- Experience with civil litigation client intake is REQUIRED.
- Experience in a client-facing position (whether in a legal capacity or otherwise)
- High level of organization and ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working with others in a team-oriented environment is essential
Salary/Compensation/Benefits:
