Job Overview
This is a hybrid role in San Francisco or Los Angeles that offers extraordinary creative freedom and ownership in revolutionizing how domains become financialized assets. As Social Community Lead at D3, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the DomainFi ecosystem. Your mission will be to build and nurture a community of domain investors, Web3 builders, and institutional partners who understand and contribute to the vision of domains as a new financial primitive.

Key Responsibilities

Ecosystem Development
- Lead initiatives to educate and engage key stakeholders about DomainFi's potential as a new asset class
- Foster meaningful discussions and collaborations between domain investors, Web3 developers, and financial institutions
- Develop and execute strategies to position D3 as the thought leader in domain financialization
- Create and maintain educational resources about domain valuation, trading, and financialization

Community Building
- Build and nurture a sophisticated community focused on domain investment and financialization
- Facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing between traditional domain investors and Web3 natives
- Organize high-impact online events focused on DomainFi education and ecosystem development
- Create spaces for technical discussions about domain tokenization, standards, and infrastructure

Content Strategy
- Develop thought leadership content that establishes D3's expertise in domain financialization
- Create educational materials that help stakeholders understand the technical and financial aspects of DomainFi
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to produce in-depth content about domain valuation and trading
- Maintain a consistent voice that reflects D3's position as a pioneer in domain financialization

Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to gather community feedback on DomainFi products
- Collaborate with business development to support institutional partnerships and integrations
- Guide marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with D3's vision of domain financialization
- Provide strategic insights to leadership about ecosystem development opportunities

Qualifications
- Deep understanding of both traditional domain industry and Web3 ecosystems
- Experience building sophisticated financial or technical communities
- Strong background in creating educational content for complex financial or technical products
- Proven ability to engage with institutional stakeholders and technical audiences
- Excellence in fostering meaningful discussions about new financial primitives or asset classes
- Demonstrated success in positioning new technologies or financial products

Nice to Haves
- Experience with financial content creation and educational resource development
- Background in domain investing or domain industry
- Technical understanding of tokenization and blockchain infrastructure
- Network within traditional finance or domain investment communities
