As a Dental Hygiene Assistant with Ashby Park Pediatric Dentistry, you will play a vital role in ensuring children have lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children, and enjoy working with a fun team of like-minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to meet you! The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting with all hygiene care including room set up and breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization.
Requirements:
Xray Certified or willing to obtain certification
Dental/Clinical experience is preferred
Bilingual preferred
Schedule: M-Th 7:30am - 5:00pm Lunch 12-1. Possibility of Friday hours 7:30am-5pm Lunch 12-1 (Possibility of occasional travel to sister office in Easley if requested)
Key Skills for this role include:
- Coronal Polishing Certificate and X-ray Certification are a plus
- Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting
- Back office dental experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, take direction and be a flexible team player
