Job Description: (Machine Operator)
- Supervising the packers and grinder to ensure everyone is working safely and getting tasks done throughout the shift.
- Showing up 20 minutes early for the shift to warm up machines and/or debrief with the prior machine operator to address any issues that might have occurred on the prior shift.
- Must maintain a safe and efficient work environment for your team while keeping the machines running for the entire shift.
- Performing QC on each part every 10-15 Minutes.
- Making sure that all paperwork is done correctly, documenting downtime, and writing down roll tags.
- Helping packers if they get backed up and packing on the end of the line to cover breaks and if shorthanded.
- Communicating with maintenance and management if a machine goes down.
- Ensure all packers are getting breaks on time, tracking their breaks, and documenting attendance for your packers.
