Duties
- Perform order picking and packing of materials accurately and efficiently.
- Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery.
- Operate equipment such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers safely.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks in the workplace.
Requirements
- Previous experience in materials handling or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various warehouse equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
