What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator/Welder position at D7 PNEUMATICS LLC?
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Fabricate metal components and assemblies using cutting, bending, and shaping techniques.
- Inspect welded joints and components for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication issues.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of production.
