Job Description
Under the supervision of the Executive Director of External Relations, the Administrative Services Manager assists with marketing campaigns, content creation, and managing digital platforms. This role provides administrative support for marketing and development activities, including event assistance, database management, and promotional materials coordination. This is a part time position (29.5 hours per week).
Major Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Assist with the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including websites, blogs, social media channels, and display monitors, etc.
- Create and distribute engaging written and graphic content in the form of flyers, social media posts, images, reels, blog content, email, and e-newsletters.
- Help maintain and update websites, blogs, and social media accounts, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and aligned with Da Vinci Schools’ brand.
- Provide administrative support to the external relations team, including assembling marketing packets, ordering promotional swag, ordering business cards, updating donor databases, reprinting diplomas, assisting at special events, managing and updating summer camp rosters, and more.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
- Previous experience in marketing or communications.
- Creative mindset and digitally savvy, comfortable creating original content using Canva, Constant Contact, updating websites using WordPress, Wix, etc.
- Previous experience creating and posting on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X) – social posts, images, reels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- Comfortable interacting and interviewing students, staff, alumni, board members and other community stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative to propose and execute new marketing ideas, processes, and improvements to drive campaign effectiveness and team efficiency.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the marketing/communications field.
- Available to work occasional nights and weekends (approx. 6-8 events per academic year).
