Lot/Yard Attendant

Each week, we need assistance in organizing 1,000 vehicles for our weekly auction/sale. This job includes tracking, locating, moving and marking vehicles between various units of operation within the DAA Seattle campus.

Shifts

We have multiple shifts available for this role:

Shift 1:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Shift 2:

• Monday: Off
• Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Shift 3:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Friday: Off

Work is performed mostly outside, in all weather conditions. You will be working on a team to accomplish the weekly goal of having all vehicles in the correct place on the lot and ready before the sale starts each Friday morning. Additionally, our Lot team troubleshoots vehicle problems, jumps batteries, ensures all vehicles start and run and assist with Sale Day operations. Requirements for this position include excellent attendance, the ability to read and understand a lot map, good customer service skills, and the ability to work well within a team. Candidates must also be able to operate automatic as well as manual transmission vehicles, comfortability driving and working in adverse weather conditions, the ability to get in and out of vehicles with relative ease, and walk and/or stand for long periods of time. A valid driver’s license and three year driving abstract will be required for this position.
