DAAR Engineering, Inc. is an award-winning Wisconsin based civil engineering and construction management firm comprised of experienced engineers, technicians, and project managers, specializing in both public and private sector improvement projects. We are currently seeking full-time Civil Engineering Technicians.
POSITION
Full-time Civil Engineering Technician positions are available in our Portage, Brookfield, Johnson Creek, and Tomahawk offices. Benefits of the position include:

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a two-year civil technology degree
- 2 years’ related experience
- Possess a broad-based knowledge of the construction process
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written, graphical, and verbal forms
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Experience with Field Manager and/or Field Book preferred
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of WisDOT Materials process desirable
- Certifications in WisDOT Highway Technician Program desirable
- Civil 3D experience desirable
- Survey Experience desirable
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide own means of reliable transportation
- Ability to travel as needed for meetings, on-site inspections, etc.
- Ability to multitask a variety of office and fieldwork duties
- Possess both technical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of highway improvement projects in accordance with established processes
· Perform highway and bridge construction inspection
· Reviews, reads, and interprets project plans and construction documents
· Provides assistance to project management in overall project team activities by functioning as a member of a division or project team
· Assist in preparing plans and design documents
