About Us:
DAAR Engineering, Inc. is an award-winning Wisconsin based civil engineering and construction management firm comprised of experienced engineers, technicians, and project managers specializing in both public and private sector improvement projects. We are currently seeking a Transportation Design Services Manager to lead our Transportation Design team in our Brookfield, WI office.
Position:
This Full-Time Transportation Design Services Manager role will work out of our Brookfield, WI office, working closely with other managers and design staff to lead and direct various Transportation Design projects. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage multiple Transportation Design projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project work is completed according to contract requirements and specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress to meet project benchmarks and objectives.
- Oversee and provide leadership to team of Design Engineers and manage all functions of the team including staffing, scheduling, and planning.
- Perform business developments tasks including preparing proposals and contracts, project interviews, networking, and building relationships with clients.
- Work with other managers to identify new opportunities to help grow both the Design group and the firm as a whole.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 years of experience in Transportation Design and Project Management
- Wisconsin Professional Engineer license
- Knowledge and experience with AASHTO engineering principles and standards
- Knowledge and experience with WisDOT design standards, policies, and procedures
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software
- Experience managing a team of employees
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask on a variety of project duties

Pay: Based on qualifications and experience with annual salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000
