You’ll be the go-to expert, mentor, and strategic contributor in a growing IT department that values innovation, collaboration, and impact.
Compensation: $75,000-85,000
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise IT infrastructure—from networking to cloud services.
- Be the escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor IT operations team members.
- Optimize our environment using automation tools like PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
- Oversee security, system hardening, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support growth, office expansions, and cloud migrations.
- Drive strategic IT projects, build resilient systems, and ensure 24/7 availability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential disruptions.
- Document everything from architecture to SOPs to ensure seamless operations and knowledge sharing.
- 3 years in system administration, IT infrastructure, and networking.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of networking (Meraki SD-WAN, VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs).
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and enterprise storage.
- Proven track record of improving uptime, performance, and security.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a “figure-it-out” mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications like CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Zero Trust security models, containerization, and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems and cloud networking in distributed environments.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk).
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel across the U.S.
- Ability to move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Regular movement around the office and periods of extended computer use.
