Join DABS Inc in supporting adults with developmental disabilities across California! As a Life Skills Trainer, you'll guide clients in achieving their goals and fostering meaningful connections within the community.
Here's what you'll do:
- Provide personalized instruction and social skills development through community activities
- Ensure safety in all environments, including during outings
- Foster positive interactions and socialization among clients
- Create activity plans tailored to each client's objectives
- Address behaviors and conflicts with professionalism and ABA techniques
- Stay updated with safety and ongoing training
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of client progress
What we need from you:
- CPR Certification and TB Test (we can assist you with this)
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with developmental disabilities and behaviors preferred
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance for driving roles
- Clear federal and state background check
What we offer:
- $18-$20/hour
- Flexible shifts available based on your availability
