About the Job

As a Roofing Helper, you’ll assist with all types of roofs, including flat and sloped, as well as residential and commercial projects. You’ll work with an experienced team, learning how to use hand and power tools, measure materials accurately, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roofing installations, repairs, and custom gutter work.
• Use hand and power tools to complete various construction tasks.
• Read and interpret measuring tape to ensure accurate material cuts.
• Climb up and down ladders to retrieve and deliver various tools and materials as needed.
• Clean up job sites and organize tools to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
• Run errands to pick up materials and supplies as needed.
• Safely lift, carry, and transport materials.
• Follow instructions, work as part of a team, and stay eager to learn.
• Stay proactive—when one task is finished, look for the next thing to do.
• Keep busy and be helpful to the team.
• Limit personal phone use to stay fully engaged and alert while on the job.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform various tasks as needed to assist the crew and keep projects running smoothly.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
