Construction SuperintendentAlbany, NYDACK Consulting Solutions, LLC, a leading Construction Consulting / Management firm , is looking for a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects in Albany. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to work on exciting projects while collaborating with top industry professionals.Responsibilities : Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.Oversee the performance of construction crews and subcontractors , ensuring all work is completed according to project specifications.Ensure all job safety requirements are implemented and conduct on-site safety meetings to maintain a zero-injury workplace .Review trade contractor safety programs and MSDS information in start-up meetings.Identify and correct any safety hazards at the job site, reporting all incidents accordingly.Evaluate construction plans and specifications, providing feedback on constructability and scheduling .Ensure compliance with all contract documents, including specifications, drawings, and shop drawings .Coordinate the deployment of workforces and materials , optimizing efficiency across multiple job sites.Conduct walkthroughs and inspections to ensure the highest quality of work and adherence to safety protocols.Manage project closeout processes, ensuring all punch list items are addressed.Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).8 years of full-time construction management experience, including new construction and renovation projects.4 years of experience managing all phases of construction on projects of similar scope.Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents .Proven experience with MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Fire, Plumbing) and building envelope components.Proficiency in construction scheduling software and project management tools.Benefits : Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K PlanPaid Time Off (PTO) & HolidaysCareer growth opportunities with a leading construction management firmDACK Consulting Solutions, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
