Electrical Construction QA / QC Technical Reviewer (DSA Projects)

Position Start Date :

Approximately February to March

Salary $170,000 to $180,000 per year as a full-time employee, plus full company benefits, including 10 paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays, and 5 paid sick days.

Position Overview :

The successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the LAUSD Facilities Program

Position Functions : Duties :

1. Perform technical review of proposed electrical plans and specifications submitted by

District personnel, consultant staff, or commissioned architects and engineers for

construction projects

2. Provide review comments regarding adherence to District standards, quality of development

and documentation of electrical design, coordination with other disciplines, and other

technical issues as required.

3. Provide comments, lessons learned and research to support the development and

maintenance of the District’s Design Guidelines including the School Design Guide,

Educational Specifications, Guide Technical Specifications, and Standard Technical

Drawings for the Facilities Services Division.

4. Provide comments and lessons learned to update and maintain District policies and guides

for the design of educational facilities and / or District construction electrical specifications to

assure conformance to building codes and safety requirements and to improve the quality

and economy of construction, maintenance, and operation.

5. Coordinate activities with those of other units of Design and A / E Technical Support and

other District organizations.

6. Perform other duties as assigned
