Shipping and Receiving Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing outgoing order shipments. Their duties include staging and packing product for shipment, completion of inventory transactions to close orders, reviewing incoming and outgoing carrier schedules to maintain productive operations, coordinating with the Sales and Assembly departments to facilitate timely delivery of orders, and completing paperwork necessary to accompany shipments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtain and process product orders
• Maintain the company stock through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics
• Keep files of goods shipped forwarding records to Accounting department
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
• Ensure adherence to management and systems
• Trouble shoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
• Place merchandise in packaging and onto trucks, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
• Other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE

One Shift with Overtime

Monday – Friday 7:00am-4:30pm

Every other Saturday 7:00am-Noon

Paid Holidays Off

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years old with a High School Diploma
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization and administrative skills
• Integrity and leadership skills
• Exemplary customer care skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
• Submit to a drug test and physical
