Summary:
The Data Analyst position will play a crucial role in supporting our Chief Experience Officer (CXO) by analyzing data from various platforms, including CRM systems, loan platforms, and other internal systems, to enhance the member experience and optimize operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and reporting, with a keen ability to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and ensure that we are fully utilizing the features available within our systems. This role requires collaboration across departments, so effective communication skills are essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn and become proficient in the use of key internal systems, including the CRM system (Marquis), Sync 1 loan platform, and any other relevant platforms.
- Analyze system features and tools to ensure we are leveraging all available functionalities to optimize performance and provide actionable insights to enhance the utilization of current systems and identify new tools or features that may support business goals.
- Extract and compile data from various platforms to create comprehensive, accurate, clean and consistent reports.
- Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct routine audits and identify inconsistencies or gaps and areas for improvement within the credit union’s operations and member services. Present findings and data-driven recommendations in clear, concise formats for different audiences, including management and department heads.
- Analyze member behavior, engagement, and trends to support decision-making processes for strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with the Chief Experience Officer to align data insights with organizational goals and objectives and support other Senior Leadership in developing strategies to enhance operational workflows and member engagement.
- Collaborate with teams and various departments (Marketing, IT, Member Services, etc.) to gather insights, identify pain points, develop actionable strategies, and provide recommendations on how to better utilize platform features for improved service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall member experience.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support special projects, decision-making, and strategic initiatives as needed and respond to urgent data requests from various departments and stakeholders.
- Assist in training team members and other departments on how to use the data, reports, and insights generated from the platforms and provide ongoing support to ensure teams understand how to extract and interpret data for their functions.
Requirements:
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
- Data Analisys and Reporting highly preferred
- Familiarity with PC applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail oriented; excellent organizational, analytical and investigative skills.
- Maintains basic knowledge level regarding regulatory requirements and consumer protection.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive financial information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to perform research independently and work under minimal supervision.
