Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Manufacturing Plant Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals, optimize resource utilization, and maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production workflows and high-quality standards.
• Manage and lead plant staff, including supervisors, production teams, and support personnel, while fostering a positive work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet production targets, deadlines, and budgets.
• Monitor plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, enforcing plant policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain inventory control and oversee the scheduling of raw materials, production, and equipment maintenance.
• Analyze production data and provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, costs, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Supply Chain, HR) to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve any issues.
• Manage plant budgets and resources to optimize costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are skilled and knowledgeable about equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance within the plant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, related field or 5 years relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software      (e.g., ERP systems).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant manufacturing management frameworks.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with a typical work schedule of 8-hour days with flexibility to adjust as necessary based on production needs.
• The work environment is a manufacturing plant with exposure to machinery,      noise, and varying temperatures.
• Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or plant assessments.
