Key Responsibilities:
- Billing and Claims Management:
- Prepare and submit accurate dental insurance claims to various insurance providers.
- Ensure all claims are submitted in a timely manner and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
- Verify and review dental treatment plans and codes to ensure proper billing.
- Process insurance payments and ensure correct allocation to patient accounts.
- Handle patient billing, including sending statements and processing payments.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and predeterminations.
- Insurance Verification:
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage before appointments.
- Confirm patient benefits, co-pays, and deductibles.
- Communicate any discrepancies or coverage issues to patients and assist in resolving them.
- Patient Communication:
- Explain insurance benefits and financial responsibilities to patients.
- Assist patients with insurance questions or concerns, including coverage and payment options.
- Provide patients with clear and accurate information about their billing statements.
- Collections and Financial Management:

- Familiarity with dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and claims submission platforms.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education Requirements:
