Key Responsibilities:
Compensation is $70,000-$85,000 base salary plus annual target bonus. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Cost Analysis: Analyze and track procurement costs, supplier pricing, and purchasing volumes. Identify trends, variances, and inefficiencies to provide actionable insights for cost optimization.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Prepare and maintain procurement cost forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide input to financial planning for procurement-related expenses.
- Supplier Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement efficiency, such as cost per unit, order cycle time, and supplier lead time.
- Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis on procurement costs, identifying reasons for deviations from budget or forecast. Provide recommendations to improve procurement efficiency and cost control.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to gather data, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate on cost-saving initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing procurement cost trends, supplier performance, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement practices, recommending solutions to optimize purchasing, reduce costs, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions, supplier negotiations, and special projects related to procurement efficiency.
- Systems Management: Ensure the integrity of procurement data within financial systems, and recommend improvements in data collection or reporting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, with a focus on procurement costs, purchasing, or supply chain finance.
- Strong understanding of procurement cost drivers, supplier negotiations, and financial principles related to sourcing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and pivot tables.
- Experience with financial planning software (SAP) and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- 5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar analytical role, preferably within procurement or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and strategies.
- Knowledge of sourcing and supplier relationship management.
