What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dermatopathologist - Private Practice Position position at Dahl Chase Diagnostic Services?
Dahl-Chase Pathology Associates, a private practice group in Bangor, Maine is now in partnership with Versant Diagnostics and is seeking an AP / CP or AP-only board-certified pathologists with board certification in dermatopathology to join a dynamic group of 14 pathologists with multiple subspecialty certifications. Dahl-Chase has an in-house laboratory that includes histology, cytopathology, molecular diagnostics, and flow cytometry and is currently in the process of implementing a digital pathology platform that will allow integration with other practices within the growing Versant network.
- The expected workload responsibilities include primarily dermatopathology, however, qualified candidates will be expected to cover some frozen sections, occasional autopsies (1-2 / year), and limited AP / CP calls (4 weeks / year) for those with AP / CP board certification.
- This is a full-time opportunity in a practice serving an estimated population base of 600,000 people, resulting in a wide array of specimens in a variety of hospital and clinical settings. We offer a competitive salary and a generous vacation / benefit package.
