About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leader in the insurance industry to find a skilled Claims Administrator for a permanent position.
- Available Work Locations: St. Cloud, MN; Mendota Heights, MN; Plymouth, MN
- Compensation Range: $48,000-$60,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service and guidance to policyholders and claimants through proactive and efficient claim handling.
- Maintain claims oversight to minimize their impact on clients' insurance and financial outcomes.
- Process claims on behalf of clients across various lines of personal insurance, adhering to agency procedures for prompt and fair handling.
- Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure optimal claim resolutions.
- Support loss control initiatives to reduce exposure.
- Participate in claim review meetings and coordinate activities as needed.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure timely and accurate production.
- Respond promptly to daily client correspondence.
- Enter relevant information into our software systems accurately and according to company procedures.
- Collaborate with personal lines staff to identify claim issues, potential solutions, strategies, and services for clients.
- Analyze loss history and claim reports to inform decision-making.
- Maintain professional relationships both internally and externally.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and pursue designations as applicable.
- Travel as necessary for client meetings.
Requirements:
- A combination of education and experience typically acquired through a high school degree or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in claims processing, preferably in personal lines.
- An active property & casualty insurance license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A self-motivated individual who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by example.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
