Contract Duration : 7 months
Worksite Location : Eden Prairie, MN
Compensation : $25.00-$26.00 per hour

What you'll do as a Customer Account Specialist :

Establish and build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs

Proactively communicate with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Manage conflict and handle difficult conversations with customers using tact and diplomacy

Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide updates on exception management

Ensure high-quality execution of customer expectations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions

Review internal and customer data, including KPIs, for accuracy and quality

Execute pricing strategies by applying negotiation skills and understanding of customer buying habits

Contribute to business growth by listening to customers' needs and offering tailored solutions

Adopt and apply new tools and processes that enhance workflow and efficiency

Learn and apply best practices to maintain consistency and gain efficiencies across the network

Use data and reporting to identify and improve service results in order to meet customer expectations

Actively participate in daily / weekly team meetings to discuss performance and strategies

Leverage technology to track order statuses and take corrective actions when exceptions occur (e.g., verifying pricing, weights, delivery times, etc.)

Execute customer workflows, preferences, and SOPs to create cost-effective solutions

Provide ongoing issue resolution by communicating with customers and offering alternatives in a timely manner

What you need to become a Customer Account Specialist :

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Experience in customer engagement

Ability to travel domestically up to 5%

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities

Proven skills in negotiation, collaboration, and influencing others

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
