  • Worksite Location : Jessup, MD

What you'll do as the Events & Retail Manager :

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members
  • In-field coaching
  • Manage department calendar - includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for events
  • Oversee participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships, and creation of lead-gen opportunities
  • Expense and P&L management of Events and Showroom
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR, and Finance
  • Communicate results and strategy with management

    • What you'll bring to the Events & Retail Manager role :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing / communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing, planning events, or managing retail teams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage resources to achieve objectives
  • Ability to analyze the effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programs
  • Ability to understand the role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising
  • Demonstrated ability with MS Office suite
