Compensation : $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Worksite Location : St. Cloud, MN
What you’ll do as the Scheduling Specialist :
Answer phones, schedule exams, and educate patients and referring clinics on exam procedures and instructions
Obtain and update patient demographics
Obtain and maintain medical records in document management
Obtain orders for exams that are scheduled
Work with radiologists, clinic staff, referring clinics and patients on scheduling issues
Pre-register and confirm patient appointments
Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards
Greet and check in patients, collect upfront payments, obtain required paperwork and questionnaires from patients
Assist team members with facilitating patient flow, which may include helping to move patients in and out of imaging equipment
Responsible and accountable for protecting the privacy and confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) and Electronic Protected Health Information (EPHI) pertaining to patients and employees
What you’ll bring to the Scheduling Specialist role :
High School or GED required
BLS certified preferred
Background or education in medical terminology, medical imaging
