Get more details below.Compensation $130,000.00 / yr - $165,000.00 / yrWhat you’ll do as the Underwriting Consultant Lead : Create and maintain a high-quality work environment to support and motivate team membersDevelop best practices and routinely meet with team to define and evolve internal templatesProvide feedback and coaching on a regular basis to team membersDetermine workload distribution of departmentLead the development of client deliverables, includes presenting analysis to clients directly in a confident and clear mannerMaintain data tracking and reporting for financial management, underwriting models, client reports and other analytical reporting deliverables as performed by the Benefit Analyst teamAlign strategy to Alliant Analytics and uses it to assist in both the sales process and strategic solutionsPartner with regional leadership to determine best practices that align with strategic goals of team(s) and region, including but not limited to resource / capacity planning, education / training standards and deployment, written policy development to support business growth of the Benefit Analyst teamAnalyze insurance company renewal calculations for all funding types (Health, Dental and Vision)What you’ll bring to the Underwriting Consultant Lead role : Bachelor's Degree equivalent combination of education and experience7 years related work experience1 years of management experience in leading a teamExcellent problem solving and time management skillsGood customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsExcellent planning, organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to completely manage mid-level and large projects as well as effectively manage and lead assigned teams to complete goalsAbility to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced MS Excel skillsAbility to create innovative and strategic solutions to solve for increasing health care spendProficient understanding of underwriting models and reporting templatesSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function General Business and AnalystIndustries Insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
