Dahmes Stainless Inc., based out of New London, MN, is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: The CAD Designer is a member of the mechanical design team and primarily works with Mechanical Designers, Project Managers, and the manufacturing team to complete tasks. CAD Designers should have a basic understanding of engineering and functional requirements in terms of specifications, standards, constraints, and parameters which must be complied with.
As a CAD Designer, you will create models based on engineering and design specifications. You will regularly conduct reviews with the project team, produce shop and field drawings to communicate project details, and produce job packets for shop release per company standards. Additionally, you will support the sales team by creating sales models and maintaining a library of standard parts. Assisting other team members with their work as needed is also part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum two-year degree in a related field, experience using 2D DraftSight or AutoCAD, and the ability to climb stairs and work on ladders/lifts. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA and be willing to travel internationally.
