Within our Commercial Division, we focus on high-impact multifamily developments that deliver long-term value. Additionally, as a Utah-based company focused on Utah-based developments, we place extra emphasis on developing communities that foster a sense of community by connecting residents. We particularly focus on ground-up development to hold it in our portfolio long-term.

We are seeking a Development Finance Manager to join our Commercial Division and support the growing needs of our multifamily asset management team. This is a high-visibility role that interfaces directly with the executive team, lenders, and internal departments to drive the financial success of our projects.

You will be responsible for managing detailed project-level pro formas, aligning actual performance with projections, and leading the sourcing and execution of construction and permanent debt, including agency and HUD financing. The ideal candidate combines deep financial acumen with real estate development knowledge and is comfortable navigating complex capital structures.

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial proformas for multifamily development projects.
• Consolidate and analyze financial inputs from development, construction, asset management, and accounting teams.
• Track actual financial performance against proforma projections; provide variance analyses and recommendations.
• Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and closing of construction and permanent financing.
• Interface with commercial banks, life insurance companies, HUD, and agency lenders (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).
• Coordinate lender due diligence, underwriting, and closing processes.
• Collaborate with the executive team on capital strategy and deal structuring.
• Support internal reporting and investor presentations as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field (MBA or relevant master's preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in real estate finance, development, or capital markets.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel (or equivalent tools)
• Experience sourcing and managing commercial real estate debt, including agency or HUD financing.
• Understanding of real estate development, construction budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with direct exposure to senior leadership.
