Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Order Picker fills work orders by accurately identifying and pulling materials and delivering them to the requested destination.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Picking parts of various size, shape, and weight according to work orders
- Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.
- Delivering part orders to the requested work site.
- Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of work orders picked.
- May be required to use material handling equipment, (forklift, big joe, etc.) following all safety rules.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.
- Employees are responsible for comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
