Job Summary
The Human Resources Intern provides a wide variety of human resources support and administration activities, including administrative support to the Manager of Human Resources and other members of the Human Resources team. Duties are conducted in a highly confidential manner.
Note:This role is located in Hobart, IN and the candidate must be able to commute daily M-F to the office. No relocation is available,
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day support of Human Resources department functions and organization of daily tasks and work flow
- Supports the team with HRIS data entry, paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes
- Assists the onboarding program, including coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug testing
- Helps in answering employee questions regarding general human resource processes
- Conducts any filing, correspondence and communications for the HRBP team
- Works with the Talent Acquisition team with any recruiting needs as necessary
- Compiles employee data for management reports
- Assists Manager, Human Resources with special projects
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Wynright’s QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources administration experience preferred
- Knowledge of Human Resources administration processes
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientation while handling repetitive tasks
- Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
