JOB PURPOSE: The basic function of the Evening Manager is to supervise janitorial operations in all accounts and coordinate cleaning staff. Responsible for checking if facilities are cleaned correctly, assigning tasks, investigating client complaints, ordering supplies, creating schedules, and training employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold company culture at all times
- Serves as the liaison between the supervisors and DOO
- Follow and implement directives given by Director of Operations
- Enforce processes in the field
- Manage disciplinary actions with supervisors and cleaning techs
- Schedule commercial and post construction personnel accordingly for daily work
- Address, handle and take corrective action with staff to remedy complaints brought up by sales manager
- Responsible for job completion to contract specifications
- Train day staff and supers on upsells, work authorization forms and implement when opportunities arise
- Train day staff and supers on proper cleaning techniques` and procedures
- oversee Chronotek and reports
- Responsible for classroom and OTJ training of new supervisors to include driving operations.
- Responsible for setting measurements, expectations and consequences with supervisors
- Annual Performance reviews of supervisors in conjunction with Human Resources HR
- Refining the daily schedule as issues arise
- Problem Solving- Find solutions to problems as they occur in daily operations
- Warehouse Management including organization, cleanliness and inventory control
- Vehicle Management including scheduled maintenance, logs, inspections, cleanliness
- Actively promote Health and Safety, and report any breach directly to the DOO
- Ensure that all staff wear all appropriate PPE
- complete all necessary paperwork
- Look for upsell opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Required: High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Preferred: College Degree BA or BS
Experience:
- 5 years’ demonstrated experience managing cleaning technicians

Working conditions:

- General office environment, with low to medium noise, low to medium heat and cold, and low to medium dust levels.
