- Set up, adjust and operate fin press machine, uncoiler and offload table to obtain quality fin loads
- Lubricate and make necessary adjustments on press as required to obtain proper fin per inch setting per engineering standards
- Ability to use mechanical judgement in determining proper machine settings
- Perform some minor maintenance on machine and supporting maintenance with tooling changes
- Ability to run and maintain fin press to support production standards
- Load appropriate raw fin material on uncoiler in accordance with coil traveler
- Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production
- Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area
- Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements
- Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements
- Ability to use hand tools
- Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License
- All other duties as assigned
- Ability to operate hand tools
- Ability to read and understand written English
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience
