What You Will Do
- Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope
- Under supervision, analyze information, and provide technical guidance within a specific function for others within the organization, including Marketing, Applications, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
- Under direction of experienced engineers, make design modifications to standard products for specific customer needs to an acceptable quality, performance, safety, and cost standard
- Support product/development testing and design activities in support of engineering objectives
- Assist in designing components and test fixtures as required in testing and qualification of new concepts or supplier components
- Assist in using manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping to improve productivity
- Assist in various Cost Improvement Goals, proposing new ideas and initiating cost reduction and product improvement efforts to increase the overall value of products
- Support the timely resolution of field service problems using sound engineering judgment
- Stay current on product and component technology improvements and industry trends to effectively perform the functions of the position
- Investigate engineering/manufacturing issues related to the assembly of the product and take corrective action to prevent recurrence of problems
- Support the maintenance of agency and regulatory approval status (UL, CRN, ASME, KHK, CE, etc.)
- Maintain product documentation to ensure engineering documentation, drafting documentation, and product are consistent

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of related experience (HVAC, Industrial Process, or similar)
- Requires detailed knowledge of engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry
- Basic skills with CAD applications
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Salary : $60,200 - $94,800
