The Facility Monitor is responsible for overseeing the safe, secure, and efficient use of a facility. Duties include monitoring access to the building, ensuring that equipment and spaces are used properly, enforcing rules and regulations, and providing assistance to patrons or staff as needed.
Position Responsibilities may include:
- Monitor, observe, and maintain security standards, policies and procedures, ensuring rules and regulations are followed, and systems function as they should be.
- Ensure that all facility rules and procedures are followed
- Protect facilities from damage and ensuring the safety of visitors and personnel
- Monitor alarms, doors, and gates to detect threats and prevent unauthorized access
- Direct visitors to different areas of the facility, events, and landmark
- Maintain open communication with all facility areas
- Report all incidents to the Manager of Security as applicable, immediately.
- Responsible for monitoring security alarms and activity on panels, doors and gates throughout facility to detect threats to worker safety and prevent or address improper access to secured areas by unauthorized parties.
- Maintain accurate security records.
- Responsible for watching live footage of cameras showing gates around facility and perimeter to identify vehicles or individuals attempting to gain access at improper points of entry.
- Act as a first responder for medical emergencies until arrival of paramedics and law enforcement.
- Enforce established security and safety procedures and posted orders to include enforcement of company rules, polices and regulations.
- Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
