We are a wholesale distribution powerhouse throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Specializing in HVAC equipment and residential building products : Kitchen and Bath, Hearth, and Garage Doors. As a company, we continuously strive to improve living environments through products and services that benefit our customers’ lives working with work with dealers, builders, contractors, designers, and architects.
Primary responsibilities include working with internal clients and vendors and purchasing HVAC-related inventory. Interact with vendors, dealers, and manufacturers to provide solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Position Responsibilities may include :
- Perform activities in the vendor purchasing program admin function
- Ensure products and services are purchased in the most cost- and time-efficient manner
- Help determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary
- Assist in inventory analysis and maintenance
- Work with vendors and service providers to get prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
- Serve as a liaison between vendors and the sales staff
- Work with Manager to seek approvals as needed
- Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with the internal customers (users) and outside vendors / suppliers
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be able to multi-task
- Perform additional projects / duties to support ongoing business needs.
