The EH&S Technician supports the EH&S Manager to assist in implementation of common EH&S programs as well as policy or processes. Performs daily audits of work areas and team member compliance. Administers designated employee training programs. Manages daily support activities within a location. Duties could include regulatory fieldwork, data collection, compliance auditing, training, and emergency response. Completes day-to-day EH&S production floor responsibilities. This role requires someone that is results oriented and compliance driven.
Position Responsibilities may include :
- Administer EH&S programs and policies including policy guidance
- Coach employees and managers on EH&S program and policy interpretation
- Provide support and consulting to internal customers in specialty area
- Prepare reports and maintain records
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Research, collect and analyze data to identify trends and metrics and report findings / status
- Perform EH&S compliance audits
- Provide designated EH&S training programs
- Complete and document incident investigations and required documentation
- Participate in EH&S policy and program development
- Maintain confidential information
- Provide PPE to each person entering the building as needed
- Perform additional projects / duties to support ongoing business needs.
