The Quality Technician is responsible for all aspects of the internal quality systems program, including, but not limited to : Testing materials, execution, follow-up and re-validate, if necessary. Maintaining systems and information management. Quality Tech reviews protocols, qualification, and validation procedures documented by the organization. The Quality Tech is expected to follow the procedures and drive consistency of criterion and following best practices across the organization. If a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, the Quality Tech investigates and reports the findings. The Quality Technician is results and compliant orientated, has a dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives.
Position Responsibilities may include :
- Audit the areas for ISO compliance by conducting Process and Product Audits
- Document Non-Conformances
- Collaborate with the production departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Review engineering BOM and drawings and provide feedback
- Assist Quality leadership in continuous improvement projects as assigned
- Document and maintain technical reports and complete all required documentation timely and accurately
- Bring to the Managers attention, any ideas or opportunities for CIP or QIP
- Follow all safety procedures including wearing appropriate PPE when required
- Perform addition duties as needed
- Collaborate with Design Engineering Department to conduct pilot run validation, BOM auditing, drawing and IO] / Warrant document reviews for new product launches or ECRs
- Assist with the Management Audits and write the audit reports
- Perform additional projects / duties to support ongoing business needs
