The Facility Monitor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility monitoring services to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient environment. This role includes supervising a team of facility monitors, managing security systems, and working closely with security management. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Is results and compliance oriented and applies strong work ethics and integrity. Provides direction to employees, orients, trains, assigns and performance management.
Position Responsibilities may include :
- Lead, Develop and implement policy and procedures for facility monitoring.
- Train, instruct, and supervise employees using established security policies and procedures.
- Supervise a team of security personnel.
- Provide work assignments and communicate security demands to employees as well as perform quality and safety security audits.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Document and complete security reports, accident reports, and discipline notices while promoting and enforcing company policies, safety rules and work instructions
- Supervise and train a team of facility monitors, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing support.
- Oversee the operation of security and monitoring systems, ensuring they function effectively and addressing any technical issues.
- Perform check-in and check-out duties with security facility users.
- Communicate with the security manager regarding concerns and issues with facility rules, safety issues, participants, or spectators.
- Report all incidents to the security manager immediately.
- Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to facility operations and incidents.
- Policy enforcement : Ensuring compliance with departmental or campus policies and procedures.
- Lead and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain high employee morale through good employee-management relations, team building and through knowledge of policies where applicable. Recognize and inform higher supervision of hourly employees' capabilities.
- Perform additional projects / activities to support ongoing business needs.
