What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teacher position at Daily Blessings Academy?
Meet and Greet parents and children at arrival and departure of the day. Maintain a teaching environment for the children. Teaching basic skills, such as colors, shapes, letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
Passionate about teaching young children.
Ability to build relationships with families and co-workers.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Helping children to discover new interest by introducing them to art, music, sports, and other things.
A love for children and a desire to make a difference in their life.
Assist with planning, organizing and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
Dress children, change diapers, keep shoes tied, and faces clean. Observe and monitor children's play activities. Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues. Sanitize toys and play equipment. Assist with preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs. for diaper changing. Make sure the children are safe and washing hands regularly.
