Daily Companions is now hiring a Behavioral Support Professional . This position provides support for the I/DD Waiver Title XIX Program recipients. The BSP is responsible for the oversight on all programs being initiated by Individual Program Plan (IPP). This position will train providers on how to: develop tasks, goals, and develop behavior plans if needed. The BSP will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator and the Interdisciplinary Team ( IDT) in provision of services. Must have BS or BA in a human services field or a Board of Regents degree. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of "1" year professional experience in the I/DD Waiver field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of consumers to develop tailored behavior support plans.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to improve consumer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Engage with consumers to foster a supportive environment.
- Monitor and evaluate consumer progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
