Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, whether in a group home, nursing home, or through home health services. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Support hospice care as needed, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life care.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving roles such as group home, nursing home, or home health is preferred.
- Familiarity with senior care practices and patient care techniques is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of CPR and basic first aid is a plus.
- Experience in meal preparation for individuals with specific dietary needs is advantageous.
- A compassionate nature with strong communication skills is essential for building rapport with clients.

Follow special instructions from doctors or specialists regarding individuals with special diets
Notify Management of emergency situations or ANY changes in resident behaviors. Make sure to document, observe, and report resident conditions timely and appropriately.
Maintain Records of services provided before the end of your shift
Daily Activity Log
Medication EMAR ( Count narcs at each shift change)
And shift notes
Keep and maintain a clean and tidy house.
Assist residents by maintaining the cleanness of the room.
Remove all trash at the end of your shift
Clean dishes every shift
Sweep and mop
Sanitize the house
No personal phone calls while with the residents
Do not bring personal problems to work
Call in Policy is three hours. If you are going to call in, please call the house.
Report all issues and things that happened on your shift during shift change before you leave.
Do not accept gifts or money from residents.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
